What’re You in For?

Late this afternoon I was tinkering around with ideas on how best to come up with criminal histories for the outlaws in my story.  I really didn’t want to take time away from the story itself by having to tediously create individual rap sheets for each of them.  So, in order to save time, I looked for a fictional rap sheet generator online.  I found a fake police report generator.  I brought it up and it said three of my villains were accused of shoplifting a box of Magnum brand condoms from the corner drug store.  Somehow, I do not see the outlaws in my tale of being guilty of such a mundane and petty crime.  I see them being considerably more bloodthirsty and depraved than that.  Yep, I’m convinced now that I’m going to have to do this the old-fashioned way, one at a time.  My Dad always said that if you want the job done right, you have to do it yourself.
